Refund policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
14-day money-back guarantee
If you buy a paid plan (Solo, Duo or Family, monthly or yearly) and it isn't for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. You don't need to give a reason.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew until you cancel. If a renewal charges you and you didn't mean to keep the plan, ask within 14 days of that charge and we'll refund that renewal in full. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date.
After that
Outside those 14-day windows we don't refund part-used periods. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. If we charged you in error, or you were charged twice, tell us and we'll put it right.
Duo and Family plans
A refund covers the whole plan. The person who bought it can ask, and everyone sharing it goes back to the Free plan when it's refunded. On-device dictation keeps working on every plan.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your Kords account and say which plan you bought. You can also use the link in your Paddle receipt. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, and your bank can take a few days to show them.
Who you're buying from
Payments for paid plans are handled by Paddle, our payment provider and reseller. Paddle sends your receipt and processes refunds. We only ever see the details of your order, never your card number.
Your right to cancel
Your legal rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel within 14 days under UK law, are not affected by anything on this page.
